The Nicaraguan Slider Turtle is a little-known but stunning species of slider turtles. While many people often times find them gorgeous to look at; few seek to own this animal. Simply because they take a greater understanding of how to care for turtles; these are not beginner turtles!
These turtles range in size, however are considered to be one of the larger turtles that are kept as pets. The females getting as large as fourteen inches in size; which is a desirable size for people who want a larger turtle.
Unfortunately, this type of turtle is fairly hard to find. Much like any information on this turtle as it is a somewhat uncommon pet.  It is imperative that you choose a local vet that understands this breed of turtle extremely well!
